This Privacy Policy explains what information Kite Fights ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information. Signing in requires a Google account. We receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google Sign-In to create your player profile.

Player profile data. We store your in-game display name, level, XP, coins, gems, chosen country, owned and equipped kites/threads, story progress, and battle statistics (wins/losses across Practice, Story, and Multiplayer).

Avatar photo. If you choose to upload a profile photo from your device's gallery, it's stored so it can be shown on your profile and in matches. This is optional.

Multiplayer & presence data. To match you with opponents and show who's online, we store temporary presence status, room codes, and live match state while you play.

Event participation. If you join a Basant Event, we store your entry, rating, win/loss record, and streak for that event.

Voice chat. Multiplayer voice chat (optional, on-request) is peer-to-peer: your microphone audio is sent directly to your opponent's device during a match and is not recorded or stored by us. A small amount of connection setup data passes through our servers temporarily to establish the call.

Technical data. Our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) may automatically log standard technical information such as device identifiers and IP address for security, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your player profile and progress across sessions and devices.
• To run gameplay features: matchmaking, live matches, leaderboards, and events.
• To detect and prevent cheating or abuse, including in the Basant Event scoring system.
• To provide customer support if you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising & Analytics Partners

The App shows advertising and uses analytics tools to measure app performance and understand how players find and use the App. Our partners for this may collect and use information such as your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), general device information, and in-app activity (such as app opens, level or mode completions, and purchases) for analytics and ad measurement/attribution purposes.

• Google Firebase Analytics & Google AdMob – used for app analytics and to serve in-app advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Meta App Events (Meta Platforms, Inc.) – used to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and understand player engagement. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

You can limit ad tracking on Android from Settings > Privacy > Ads by resetting or disabling your advertising ID. This may reduce the relevance of ads shown but will not stop the App from functioning.

In-App Currency & Purchases

Coins and gems can be earned through gameplay or purchased with real money through Google Play's in-app billing. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we do not directly collect or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation of successful purchases (the product purchased, amount, and currency) to grant your in-app rewards and for fraud prevention.

Who Can See Your Information

Your display name, level, avatar, country, and battle stats may be visible to other players in leaderboards, matches, and event rankings. Authorized administrators of Kite Fights can view limited account data (such as coin/gem balances) and take moderation actions (including suspending accounts) to enforce fair play.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, and Cloud Storage). Access to your personal data is restricted to your own signed-in account, with server-side rules preventing other players from reading or modifying it directly.

Your Choices

• You can change your display name and remove your avatar photo at any time from your Profile.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

Kite Fights is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
